The gap opens as a business grows: Vagaro's price keeps rising to £80 a month at seven or more staff, its Marketplace carries a one-time 20% fee on each new client's first appointment, and email marketing, text marketing and the branded app are excluded from the trial and priced separately on vagaro.com (text marketing from £15/mo, forms £10/mo, MySite £15/mo, branded app £50/mo). Revyfy charges £39.99 flat whatever the size of the team. At three staff the two are close, £40 against £39.99; the gap widens from there.
Add-ons
Vagaro's 30-day trial excludes email marketing, text marketing and the branded app, so those are bought separately once a business commits. Vagaro's pricing page lists text marketing from £15 a month, email marketing free to start, forms at £10 a month and the branded app at £50 a month, as listed on vagaro.com, checked 14 September 2026. Revyfy's £39.99 flat already includes the email and SMS marketing tools, the custom forms and your own branded booking page, so there is no module to buy before you can use them. Text messages run on pay-as-you-go credit, so you buy only the texts you send, with no plan tier to move up to.
Getting booked
New clients can find a business through the Vagaro Marketplace, and each one that books a first appointment there carries a one-time 20% fee. With Revyfy, clients book on your own branded page at your own link, from your Instagram bio or Google profile, with zero commission.
Terms
Vagaro states its subscription can be cancelled at any time, for any reason, no fee. Revyfy works the same way: no contract, cancel anytime. Neither platform's own pricing page states a minimum term.
AI assistant
Vagaro's pricing page does not mention an AI assistant. Revyfy's Revy AI is an optional add-on at £24.99 a month, with the first 2 months free and included.
