Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 June 2026

This policy explains how Revyfy ("we", "us") handles personal data on this website (revyfy.com), in the Revyfy application (revyfy.app) and in the online booking pages we host for salons. Questions or requests: hello@revyfy.com.

1. The two roles we play

We are the controller for the personal data of people who visit this website, sign up for a trial, or run their business on Revyfy (salon owners and their staff).

We are a processor for the personal data a salon stores in Revyfy about its own clients (names, contact details, appointment history, notes). The salon is the controller of that data. If you are a salon's client and want to exercise your data rights over that information, contact the salon directly. We act on the salon's instructions, and our processing commitments to salons are set out in our Terms of Service.

2. What we collect as a controller

  • Account data. Name, email address, mobile number, password (stored hashed), business name and address, when you register.
  • Billing data. Subscription and payment records. Card details are collected and held by our payment provider. We never see your full card number.
  • Usage data. How the website and application are used, including pages visited, device and browser information, and session recordings and heatmaps via our analytics provider. We use these to diagnose problems, support customers when something is not working, and improve the product.
  • Advertising data. Advertising conversion measurement on this website and on trial signup, so we can tell which advertising works. We do not run personalised advertising or remarketing.
  • Support data. Emails and messages you send us.

3. Why we use it (lawful bases)

  • To provide the service (contract): accounts, bookings, payments, reminders, support.
  • To secure and improve the service (legitimate interests): diagnostics, abuse prevention, understanding how features are used.
  • To measure marketing and record analytics (legitimate interests): session analytics and advertising conversion measurement. You can object at any time, and our Cookie Policy explains how to block these cookies.
  • To meet legal obligations: accounting and tax records.

We do not sell personal data. We do not send you marketing email without consent, and every marketing message includes a way to opt out.

4. Who we share data with

We share personal data only with the service providers that help us operate Revyfy, under contract and only as far as needed: hosting and infrastructure, payment and billing, email and SMS delivery, the provider behind the Revy AI assistant, and website analytics and advertising-measurement providers. We never share the client records a salon stores in Revyfy with advertisers or analytics providers.

Some providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are protected by UK adequacy decisions or approved safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or standard contractual clauses. You can ask us for the current list of providers at any time by emailing hello@revyfy.com.

5. How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account is active. After an account closes we delete or anonymise personal data within 90 days, except records we must keep for legal reasons (such as invoices, kept for 6 years). Session recordings are retained by our analytics provider for up to 30 days.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted and authenticated, passwords are hashed, and the platform runs on established cloud infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure, but we take the protection of salon data seriously and review our measures as the platform grows.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; ask us to restrict or object to processing; ask for your data in a portable format; and object at any time to processing based on legitimate interests, including analytics. Email hello@revyfy.com and we will respond within one month.

You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we would welcome the chance to resolve any concern first.

8. Cookies

See our Cookie Policy for the full list and how to manage them.

9. Changes

We will update this policy as the service evolves and change the date at the top. Significant changes will be flagged in the application or by email.
