Vagaro pricing in the UK, explained
Vagaro's UK pricing page prices software by the number of bookable calendars: £20 a month for one, rising £10 for every calendar you add, up to £80 a month for seven or more. A one-time 20% fee applies to a new client's first booking through the Vagaro Marketplace. Revyfy is £39.99 a month flat, whatever your staff count.

Who is Revyfy?
Revyfy is UK salon software: online booking on your own branded page, the diary, POS, client records, reminders, email and SMS marketing and consent forms, plus the Revy AI assistant. One flat price of £39.99 a month, unlimited staff, zero commission on any booking. Our team moves your data over from your old system during the 14-day free trial, no card needed.
How much does Vagaro cost per month in the UK?
Vagaro's UK pricing page (vagaro.com/en-gb/pro/pricing) prices the software by the number of bookable calendars a business needs, starting at £20 a month for one. Each price is shown next to a higher, struck-through figure on Vagaro's own page, with no explanation on the page of what that struck-through figure represents or when it applies, so we simply report both numbers rather than describe it as a promotion.
Vagaro offers a 30 day free trial, but the trial excludes three things: email marketing, text marketing and the branded app. Cancellation is stated plainly: you can cancel your subscription at any time, for any reason, with no fee. Revyfy works the same way, with no contract and no cancellation fee, and a 14 day trial that includes every feature, marketing tools included, from day one. Separately, Vagaro offers a free card reader to businesses that sign up for Vagaro Merchant Services; that offer requires 12 months of processing through Vagaro Merchant Services, or a £100 early cancellation fee applies. That condition sits on the hardware offer, not on the software subscription itself.
How Vagaro's price changes as you add staff
The price rises in £10 steps as bookable calendars are added, capped at £80 a month once a business reaches 7 or more. Revyfy does not move at all: it is £39.99 a month at every one of these staff counts.
| Bookable calendars | Vagaro | Revyfy |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | £20/month | £39.99/month, unlimited staff, marketing tools included |
| 2 | £30/month | £39.99/month, no per-calendar charge |
| 3 | £40/month | £39.99/month, no 20% marketplace fee |
| 7 or more | £80/month | £39.99/month |
At 3 bookable calendars, Vagaro's published subscription and Revyfy's flat price sit close together, £40 against £39.99. That closeness is worth being honest about: on subscription price alone at 3 staff, the two are near enough the same. What separates them is what sits on top of the subscription and what happens as a team grows past that point: Vagaro's price keeps climbing £10 for every calendar added, up to £80 a month for 7 or more, while Revyfy's £39.99 does not move again.
What Vagaro's add-ons cost
Vagaro's UK pricing page lists prices for its add-ons further down the same page, under "Powerful add-ons": text marketing from £15 a month, email marketing free to start, forms at £10 a month, Vagaro MySite at £15 a month, the branded app at £50 a month, Check-In App at £10 a month, Live Stream at £10 a month, Vagaro Drive from £10 a month, QuickBooks integration at £25 a month, Data Lake at £40 a month, and Fill My Books with fees applying. Email marketing, text marketing and the branded app are excluded from the 30 day free trial, so a salon wanting those pays the listed price once the trial ends. As listed on vagaro.com/en-gb/pro/pricing, checked 14 September 2026.
Revyfy has one paid add-on, Revy AI, at £24.99 a month, with the first 2 months free and included. Everything else, online booking, the diary, POS, client records, email and SMS marketing, custom forms and multi-location, is part of the £39.99 flat price with nothing held back for a higher tier.
Does Vagaro take a percentage of bookings?
Not on every booking. Vagaro's own page states: "when a new client discovers and books your business through the Vagaro Marketplace, a one-time 20% fee applies to the first appointment." That fee is one-time, tied to a new client's first Marketplace booking, and is separate from the monthly subscription described above.
Repeat visits from the same client, and any booking that does not come through the Vagaro Marketplace, are not described as carrying that fee. On Revyfy there is no commission of any kind, on any booking, from any channel.
Card processing on Vagaro
Vagaro's UK pricing page does not list card processing rates. We looked for a published UK rate and could not find one on the page itself, so this guide states no percentage or per-transaction figure for Vagaro card processing. Anyone comparing the two should ask Vagaro directly for its current UK card processing rate before deciding.
What a 3-chair salon pays: Vagaro vs Revyfy
Using Vagaro's own published row for 3 bookable calendars, a 3-chair salon's subscription is £40 a month. Revyfy's flat price is £39.99 a month at the same staff count, so on subscription alone the two are within a few pence of each other.
| Business | Vagaro (subscription) | Vagaro with forms & text marketing | Revyfy |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3-chair salon | £40/month | £65/month | £39.99/month |
A 3-staff salon that also wants Vagaro's forms and text marketing add-ons pays £40 + £10 + £15 = £65 a month before card processing, using the add-on prices published on vagaro.com and checked 14 September 2026. Revyfy's £39.99 already includes forms and marketing tools, and texts run on pay-as-you-go credit, so you buy only what you send, with no plan tier to move up to.
What the table does not show is what happens next. If that same salon grows to 7 or more bookable calendars, Vagaro's published price rises to £80 a month while Revyfy's stays at £39.99. And any new client who books through the Vagaro Marketplace brings the one-time 20% first-appointment fee described above, on top of the subscription. Revyfy's price does not carry either of those variables: it is one number, unlimited staff, zero commission, whether the salon has 1 chair or 10.
The flat-price alternative: Revyfy
Revyfy is £39.99 a month, flat, for unlimited staff and zero commission on any booking. The price includes online booking on your own branded page, the diary, POS, client records with notes and consent forms, reminders, email and SMS marketing, custom forms, and rooms and equipment booking. Revy AI, the assistant that answers questions about the business and helps manage clients, is available as an add-on at £24.99 a month, with the first 2 months free.
Whether the business is a single chair or a team of ten, the price stays £39.99. There is no per-calendar charge to track as staff join, and no percentage taken from any booking, whether the client found the salon last week or has been coming for years.
During your 14-day free trial, the Revyfy team moves your data over from Vagaro: staff, clients, notes, services, future appointments, gift cards and stock all come across, so you are not starting from a blank system. No card is needed to start the trial.
Frequently asked questions
Is Vagaro free?
No. Vagaro's UK pricing page shows a monthly price starting at £20 for one bookable calendar, rising as staff are added. It does offer a 30 day free trial, but that trial excludes email marketing, text marketing and the branded app. Revyfy is one flat £39.99 a month with a 14 day free trial and no card needed.
How much is Vagaro for one person?
£20 a month for one bookable calendar, as published on vagaro.com/en-gb/pro/pricing. Vagaro also shows a higher, struck-through figure of £30 next to that price on its own page, with no explanation of what the strike-through represents or when it applies. Revyfy is £39.99 a month flat for one person or a full team, with no struck-through figures to interpret.
How much is Vagaro for a team?
The price rises £10 for every bookable calendar you add: £30 a month for 2, £40 a month for 3, up to £80 a month for 7 or more. Revyfy stays £39.99 a month flat at every one of those staff counts, so the gap widens as a team grows.
What add-ons does Vagaro charge for?
Vagaro's UK pricing page lists add-on prices under Powerful add-ons: text marketing from £15 a month, email marketing free to start, forms at £10 a month, Vagaro MySite at £15 a month, the branded app at £50 a month, Check-In App at £10 a month, Live Stream at £10 a month, Vagaro Drive from £10 a month, QuickBooks integration at £25 a month, and Data Lake at £40 a month. Email marketing, text marketing and the branded app are excluded from the 30 day free trial, so a salon wanting those pays once the trial ends. As listed on vagaro.com/en-gb/pro/pricing, checked 14 September 2026. Revyfy's £39.99 already includes forms and email and SMS marketing, so there is no add-on to buy for those features.
Does Vagaro have a contract?
Vagaro's own page states you can cancel your subscription at any time, for any reason, with no fee. Separately, its free card reader offer requires 12 months of processing through Vagaro Merchant Services or a £100 early cancellation fee, so read the terms of any hardware offer you take before signing up. Revyfy has no contract and no hardware tie-in of any kind.
What does Revyfy cost instead?
