Booking software for mobile hairdressers, mobile therapists and home-based salons
Revyfy works for mobile and home-based businesses because nothing about it assumes a shopfront: no business address is needed, online booking can be switched on or off, services and staff can be hidden from it, clients can be required to give their address when they book, and it is one flat £39.99 a month with zero commission and your own booking link.
Who is Revyfy?
Revyfy is UK salon software: online booking on your own branded page, the diary, POS, client records, reminders, email and SMS marketing and consent forms, plus the Revy AI assistant. One flat price of £39.99 a month, unlimited staff, zero commission on any booking. Our team moves your data over from your old system during the 14-day free trial, no card needed.
Why marketplace platforms fit mobile work badly
A marketplace listing is built around a place: a pin on a map that a searcher can compare against other businesses on the same screen. Mobile and home-based businesses do not sit still in one place, and since 1 November 2025 the subscription applies whether or not you use the marketplace at all.
Marketplace platforms are designed around discovery. A client searches by area, sees a page of businesses in that area, and picks one, often comparing photos, reviews and prices side by side. That model works for a shop with a street window and a fixed address. It fits mobile hairdressers, mobile therapists and home-based salons far less naturally, because the whole point of a marketplace listing is a location a stranger can find on a map, and a mobile business does not have one to show.
Since 1 November 2025, the position for UK businesses on Fresha has changed. A paid subscription now applies to every UK business, whether that business gets any clients through the marketplace or not: £14.95 a month as a sole trader, or £9.95 per bookable team member. A mobile hairdresser who books every client through Instagram, WhatsApp and word of mouth, and never appears in a marketplace search, pays the same underlying subscription as a business built around the listing. The pricing model still assumes a marketplace-shaped business, even for owners who never touch the marketplace at all.
Your own booking link, no listing
Revyfy gives every business its own branded booking page and a single link to share, rather than a slot on a shared listing.
That link works wherever a mobile hairdresser or home-based therapist already reaches clients: an Instagram bio, a WhatsApp message to regulars, a Google Business Profile, a text after a consultation. Whoever clicks it sees your business, your services and your availability, and nobody else's. There is no marketplace page sitting alongside it showing other businesses in the same area, because there is no marketplace to sit inside.
The audience that finds you through that link is yours, not the platform's. A client who books through your own link is not shown alternative businesses at the point of booking, and your growth is not tied to how a marketplace chooses to rank you against everyone else in your postcode.
Online booking on your terms
Online booking can be switched off entirely, or kept on with specific services or staff hidden from it.
Some mobile hairdressers and home-based therapists prefer to control every booking themselves, especially where a new client needs a quick word about access, parking or a patch test before anything goes in the diary. Revyfy lets you turn online booking off altogether: clients get in touch the way they always have, by message, call or DM, and you add the booking to the diary yourself once you are happy with it.
If you would rather keep online booking switched on, you do not have to open everything up. Individual services can be hidden from online booking while staying available when you book a client in yourself, and the same goes for individual staff members. A home-based therapist might keep straightforward treatments bookable online while keeping a first consultation, or a service that needs a chat first, off online booking entirely.
Capture the client's address at booking
Revyfy can require a client to give their address as part of booking, so a mobile visit has somewhere to go.
For a mobile hairdresser, mobile barber or mobile therapist, the address is not an optional detail, it is the actual destination of the appointment. Revyfy lets you require clients to enter their address when they book online, so that information sits on the appointment before the day itself.
Once the appointment is booked, reminders go out to the client by SMS and email in the normal way, so both sides have the details confirmed well before you set off.
Home-based salons and treatment rooms
A home-based salon or treatment room does not need to publish an address at all if you would rather not.
Not every home-based business wants an address searchable and public in the way a shopfront's would be. Revyfy does not require a business address to operate, so a converted spare room, a garage studio or a treatment room at home can run entirely on your own booking link, with the exact address shared directly with clients once a booking is confirmed, if that is how you prefer to work.
Lash, brow, aesthetics and massage work in particular tend to need more than just a name and a time. Consent forms and client notes are built into Revyfy, so a lash technician can record a patch test, an aesthetics practitioner can keep a consultation record, and a massage therapist can note contraindications, all attached to the client's record rather than kept on paper.
What it costs
Revyfy is one flat £39.99 a month with zero commission, whatever the trade and wherever you work from.
A solo mobile stylist taking 4 new marketplace clients a month at an average booking value of £45 pays £14.95 subscription plus 4 × £9 in new-client fees (20% of £45) on the dated Fresha model, £50.95 in total, against a flat £39.99 on Revyfy.
| Business | Fresha (subscription + marketplace fees) | Revyfy |
|---|---|---|
| Solo mobile stylist, 4 new marketplace clients/month | £50.95 | £39.99 |
£39.99 covers unlimited staff, so the price does not move if you take on an assistant or grow into a small home-based team. There is no per-head charge and no percentage taken from any booking, mobile or not, new client or returning. The trial is 14 days, no card needed, and you can cancel any time.
The flat-price alternative: Revyfy
Revyfy was built to work the same way whether a business has a shopfront, a mobile round or a spare room turned treatment space. No business address is needed, online booking can be switched on or off exactly as you want it, an address field can be required at booking, and it is one flat price with zero commission on every booking.
During your 14-day trial, the Revyfy team moves your clients, notes, services, future appointments and more across from your old system, so a mobile or home-based business is not starting again from a blank client list.
