Booksy costs £40 a month plus VAT in the UK, plus £5 a month plus VAT for each additional team member, as published at biz.booksy.com/en-gb/pricing (checked 26 September 2026). Marketplace bookings are free unless Boost is on, when a one-time 30% fee (minimum £5) applies to a Boost client's first visit. Card processing and SMS beyond 500 a month are extra.

How much is Booksy a month?
Booksy's UK pricing page (biz.booksy.com/en-gb/pricing) lists one plan, "all features included", at £40 a month. The page states that "all services are subject to VAT, which will be added to the final price", so the plan works out at £48 a month once VAT is added. Booksy's own FAQ wording puts it plainly: "Booksy costs £40 per month, plus £5 per month for each additional team member." Revyfy is one flat £39.99 a month, and no VAT is added to that price.
Does Booksy charge per staff member?
Yes, Booksy charges £5 a month plus VAT for every additional team member on top of the £40 plan. Booksy's pricing page instructs salons to "add extra users for £5 a month each", which is £6 with VAT per additional team member. The table below shows how that adds up as a team grows; Revyfy does not move at all.

At one person, Booksy's £48 with VAT is close to Revyfy's £39.99. The gap widens from the second team member on: every extra user adds £5 plus VAT to Booksy's bill, while Revyfy's £39.99 stays the same whatever the team size.
What is the Booksy Boost fee?
Boost is "free to turn on, no monthly fee", but it carries a "one-time 30% fee (with a minimum of £5) based on the total cost of a Boost client's first visit". Booksy's marketplace bookings are otherwise free: "we do not charge commissions for any new clients that find you online or through your own marketing efforts, or on Booksy Marketplace when Boost is not turned on." Booksy's own advice is to share your Booksy profile link so clients who book through it are not charged for when Boost is on.
A worked example: a salon running Boost that gets 8 new Boost clients a month, each with a £45 first visit, pays 8 x £13.50 = £108 in Boost fees on top of the subscription. Revyfy takes 0% commission on any booking and has no paid visibility feature to switch on.
Is Booksy free?
No, Booksy is not free, though it can be tried for free for 7 days. Booksy's page says: "Try for free for 7 days", with no card, no commitment, cancel anytime, monthly. After the trial, the £40 plus VAT plan applies. Revyfy's 14-day free trial also needs no card, before its flat £39.99 a month begins.
What are Booksy's card fees?
Booksy's pricing page lists: Mobile Payments at 1.29% + 20p + VAT per transaction, Tap to Pay at 0.99% + 20p + VAT per transaction, and Fast Payouts, paid out within 30 minutes, at a 1.5% fee. SMS marketing is included up to 500 messages a month, with messages beyond that limit costing 5p each; appointment confirmations and reminders are always free. Revyfy does not publish card processing rates on its site: card processing applies on both platforms.
What a 3-chair salon pays: Booksy vs Revyfy
Using Booksy's own published figures, a 3-chair salon (the owner plus 2 additional team members) pays £40 + 2 x £5 = £50 a month before VAT, £60 a month with VAT, before Boost. Revyfy's flat price is £39.99 a month at the same staff count.

If that same salon turns Boost on and gets 8 new Boost clients a month at a £45 first visit, the Boost fees alone add £108, taking the month to about £168 on top of the £60 subscription with VAT. A salon sending 800 marketing texts a month also pays 300 x 5p = £15 extra on Booksy once the 500 free messages are used.
